2nd year module...chosen Manufacturing Engineering
Quality or Design route, I took Design.
1999-02 National Service Term
2002 - Heard and Witness designing is not suitable for me. (Did not sharpen the tools and did not have all the skills). Went project management for injection mold to find it is VERY boring and meaningless.
2002-04 Went to equipment maintenance, managing operational of equipment and inventory. Salary never move.
2004-06 Salary reset. Went to injection mold and stamping mold as customer status. Project Management and measurement tasks etc. OMG...technician doing similar job scope as me.
Finished my SCM course.
2006-10 Salary reset. Went to procurement SQE. Underpaid. Scope was engineering with minor costing mix. 2009 had great challenge of currency fluctuation and raw material price increase.
2010 Salary reset again? Finally see an opening as SQE to bridge my salary gap... who knows.
Blessing in disguise I hope.
Now, work as a SQE cum DCC after such a big round of 8.5 years (Kinda Assistant QMR job)
I wonder where I will be if I took Quality module and joined QA directly.
